Never before has the journal publishing industry faced such a radical market change.
Will publishers have to pay more?
Will publishers lose or make money?
Who's making and taking the money?
How can publishers survive?
Major publishers boast that more than 25% of their business is now through the sale of electronic journals, whilst a recent EPS survey concluded that 61% of all Scientific and Technical information is now delivered electronically. The sales of individual journal subscriptions at standard list prices is on the decline.
