For those of you who don’t have a clue what we’re on about, welcome to the brave new world of social media and social networking.
The last few years has seen a seen an explosion in the number of new-fangled web-based social media platforms, which allow people all over the world to communicate, collaborate and interact in lots of new and exciting ways.

From the micro-blogging wonder of Twitter, to the media sharing experience of Flickr, through to the omnipotent social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn and MySpace; it is a veritable multi-media minefield out there!
