Brexit means Brexit – but what does that mean for publishers?

There are few informed analyses of what BREXIT means for the industry we work in but for this event we are fortunate to have speaking to us two local experts who can speak from positions of strength.

Joss Saunders, the Company Secretary & General Counsel for Oxfam GB, has regularly spoken to OPUS audiences for many years and his presentations have always been informative and entertaining. He will provide the hard core of the session by explaining the publishing law repercussions which will impact on the continued successful operations of local companies.

James Perham-Marchant, who is director of government affairs for Wiley EMEA, is a newcomer to OPUS. He will outline the financial, human resources, research funding and political scenarios and challenges which publishing companies with operations in the UK are likely to be confronted with from 2019 onwards.
