Whichever sector of the publishing industry you're involved in, events and conferences are a vital path to ensuring your products' success. How do you maximise the opportunities provided by rights fairs and academic conferences, or electrify a consumer audience - indeed, secure one in the first place? Our speakers, who between them possess vast experience of industry and consumer events, will share tips and tricks on what to do - and what not to do - to ensure the best results possible when planning an event.
Join us to hear words of wisdom from both sides of the fence. The current line-up of speakers includes:
- Orna O'Brien, Conference Manager for London International Book Fair.
- Euan Hirst, Academic Manager of Blackwell Broad Street Bookshop
Venue: Clerici Lecture Theatre (formerly the Main Lecture Theatre)
Please note the OPuS AGM will take place before this event, any non-members will be asked to remain outside in the foyer until the AGM has concluded.
Non-members Entry: £10
